A mysterious creature indeed, the crow has been a symbol of evil and death in a multitude of cultures for centuries. To some of the earliest civilizations this carrion represented war, hence the tearing of flesh and was viewed as a bad omen. When present in dreams, he brings sadness. The crow remains the ultimate macabre creature.
